Create an account in order to share large files that typically will not send through traditional mail servers due to their large size.

Create a new account
- Enter required information. > click Create an Account
- The first time you log in Dropbox will send a verification email to the account you used when registering. Go to your email account and acknowledge the email.
- Once verification is all set click on files on the left side of your screen
- Click on file requests
On the right side click on Request Files
- In the box “what are you requesting?”, Enter the name of the “request” you want to create
- You can leave the default location or change the folder location
- Click next
- After clicking next you will be given a link to provide to users so they can upload large files.
- It is a good practice to email this to yourself so that there is record of the link.
- Click done.
- When you provide the link to users their uploaded file will appear in the folder you created.
- Dropbox will send you an email informing you of the attachment and you will be required to login to Dropbox to retrieve it.
- The original sender will not have access to view any items or the items they sent to your dropbox account.
