When an officer logs in to Mark43 First Responder for the First time, they need to set the MA LEAPS password associated with their CJIS account. This password has no requirements and will never need to be entered again. When I asked Mark43 Support what to do in this case, I was told you just need to write something in the text box. The user’s last name or user ID works.
In Mark43, click the user’s ID number in the bottom left (O-##) and if the “Set MA LEAPS Password” has an exclamation point (!) as seen below, you need to enter the LEAPS Password. If there is no exclamation point, the LEAPS password has already been set.
